The recognition also comes at a time of impressive 2018 growth for Piano – from revenue to new client wins to new team members – with much more anticipated in the coming months.

So far in 2018 Piano has seen:

  • A 90% increase in monthly recurring revenue for the 12 months ending July 2018
  • 22 new Piano clients including Le Parisien, The Washington Times, and The Daily Beast
  • 30% employee growth – adding team members in every department from sales and client services to product development and strategy
  • The opening of Piano Amsterdam – a new European headquarters to support our growing overseas client base

We continue to invest in our platform and services to help our clients increase user engagement, drive subscriber growth, and grow revenue. Stay tuned for news on new platform enhancements coming later this month.

“We’re delighted to find ourselves in the top 10% of the Inc. list,” said Piano CEO Trevor Kaufman, “it’s great validation of the work we’ve done to build a suite of products we’re very proud of and grow a client base to match. It also reflects the important role we’re playing in supporting the future of media and content, enabling our customers to build meaningful relationships with their users.”

The Inc. 5000 list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—young emerging growth companies. Microsoft, Dell, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.
