Take the Interview (TTI), providers of cloud-based interview management solutions, today announced that it has appointed Andrew Schafer as the company’s Vice President of Engineering. Schafer brings more than twenty years of experience in software technology and delivery. He is now responsible for bringing this engineering expertise and leadership to the development of TTI’s core product.

I admired Andy’s ability to be extremely strategic and also his focus on execution. Andy possessed the appropriate balance. Schafer joins TTI from Macmillan Learning, where he most recently served as Vice President of Engineering and was responsible for developing the company’s flagship learning product, Launchpad. Prior to Macmillan Learning, Schafer served as Vice President of Engineering at Createthe Group, a digital design and e-commerce product firm that pioneered how content and commerce are integrated on the web. Schafer received a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from New York University.
